layers

A challenge, that with winter; we had to go through one more challenge to meet it.

For years we had been trying to make second layers "the way we wanted them:" warm, practical, beautiful, with the details we had in mind.

Made as close as possible with materials produced as close as possible

It took two years. But here they are.

Second layer garments completely made in Italy, from the materials (the fabric produced in Montemurlo -Prato- and YKK zipper in Vercelli) to the manufacturing, in Treviso. We went further: we chose to use only fabrics made from recycled fibers and with a production cycle of less in 600 km, 6% of the 10000 km required for a garment from the Far East.

The result: a hooded jacket and midlayer 100% made in Italy and completely sustainable. Here you have, at last, the Appalachian jacket and Redwood jersey.

For those who don't want to feel like a hamster on the wheel, those who make running a journey even in the grittiest of cities, those who let themselves be guided by traffic lights and are not afraid of getting lost. They might even hope so.

It’s possible to train legs and spirit for Ultra races even in the city.

A comfier fit, wider cuffs, reflective “metal” Wild Tee logo and original print. Street Blazer is part of the capsule collection in collaboration with the designer Sebastiano Boni

We have been thinking about the cool weather, which has been a long time coming, for months: ever since we went out, dripping with sweat, to train in July during our lunch break; when we set the alarm clock for 5 a.m. to escape the sultry heat; when our runs turned into treasure hunts in search of drinking fountains.

Now let's enjoy the ideal temperatures for running, the ones where we may feel like putting on an extra layer at the summit.

As the season progresses and the days become ever so slightly shorter, perhaps the training sessions will cost us a little extra effort of will that will be repaid by new colors and lights, cities looking completely different and trails we know like the back of our hand getting covered in leaves and making you crave chestnuts and mushrooms.

Mid Season

Collection

Mid Season Collection

Autumn is perhaps the time when it is most difficult to choose what to wear, with the cool, damp mornings and sunny afternoons. In the same group you see the one in a tank top and the others in jackets and long trousers. Grandma's, and Shrek’s, advice always wins, dress in layers. But also don’t go straight to heavy clothes, this season is the one for mid-layers.

Wild Tee's Mid Season collection allows you to not fear the cold without breaking a sweat.

Long-sleeved jerseys over a t-shirt and a windbreaker for more leisurely outings in the mountains; worn alone with a short but more body-hugging trouser for city workouts.

The range of long-sleeved jerseys is wide, with new colors and graphics every day you can match your outfit to your mood or training schedule.

The Colour Block line is perhaps one of Wild Tee's most popular.  The simple geometry and the high-contrast colors are simply a match made in heaven. Over time we have created so many variations and with each new creation we feel like we have made “the most beautiful color-combo of them all”.

We have now added even more new products, you can waste hours deciding which one is your favourite.

The same hours it took the Wild Tee crew to build a sort of tepee on an autumn day that smelled of woods, serenity and smiles.

“Wild Tee Running Co.” has been written on our organic cotton t-shirts and sweatshirts since 2016 and is now back on our technical long-sleeves because the concept of community has always been a fundamental part of Wild Tee's way of conceiving running.

Color is an element that has always characterized Wild Tee's style; in the Gradient Line, we have treated it in a different way, a fluid way that conveys speed, inspired by the lights and flashes of our night runs.
