When, on July 2, 1974, Steve Prefontaine came to Milan for the athletics meeting, the boys of the Pro Patria gave him an black singlet. Steve became attached to that tank top and wearing it won his last race on the Eugene track in Oregon. Ours is a dutiful homage to one of the greatest athletes of all time, one who ran Wild!
